Noel Sweeney is a freelance photographer, photojournalist and documentary maker based in Cork, Ireland.
A regular shooter and features writer for local and national outlets, he also has clients in business, the arts and independent media.
When Noel is not shooting images he is likely to be producing a documentary for radio (bit of an audio nerd as well); planning a photo-led feature article or essay, or probably playing around with a film camera. Loves to travel, meet people, and fully engage in projects.

Marrakech International Storytelling Festival 2025
Over the next two years, I am working with the team of the Marrakech International Storytelling Festival in developing a range of promotional events in the run up to the 2025 festival.. Ensuring that we build on the massive successes of 2023, we are curating an array of fringe events that will promote and support the next instalment of the festival. This will include a photography exhibition in central Marrakech, which, personally, I am really looking forward to getting stuck into. The Marrakech International Storytelling Festival 2025 is shaping up to be one for the books.
